The mission of the Navy Reserve is to provide strategic depth and deliver operational capabilities to the Navy and Marine Corps team and Joint forces, in times of peace or war.
Navy Reserve Sailors seamlessly support and actively aid that mission, all while continuing to lead their own independent lives in the civilian world.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESElectronics Technicians (ET) are trained in computer, aerospace and electrical engineering to maintain combat readiness across a wide variety of complex ship and aircraft systems.
As an ET, your responsibilities may include:
Detecting enemy planes and ships, and determining target distanceMaintaining, repairing and calibrating all electronic equipment used to detect, track, and identifyadversaries, and for electronic countermeasuresMaintaining, repairing and calibrating electronic equipment including radar, communications andnavigation equipmentUsing and maintaining hand tools and portable power toolsPAY & BENEFITSWhen you serve your country, you become a part of something truly important and you deserve to be rewarded accordingly.
