Lehigh Technical & Professional Service is a leading staffing agency dating back to the 1950's. We specialize in temporary and direct placement positions in the fields of: IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting and Administrative. We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company as they are currently seeking to hire a Electrical Engineer, to join their New York Team. This will be a great opportunity to have a direct impact on the day-to-day operation of a leading electronics manufacturer.
Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer shall have the responsibility of designing, developing, testing and supporting new and existing products from inception to end of life. This position is necessary to support present and future growth of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
' Design and build hardware of power electronic converters.
' Provide engineering support for new and existing products relating to system offerings, power converters, motor and/or variable speed drives
' Conduct/Lead design reviews as necessary.
' Travel to potential and existing customers to provide technical support as required
' Coordinate and manage technical personnel on the project while interfacing with Program Office to ensure project milestones are being achieved.
' Provide all necessary technical inputs for technical proposals.
Education and Experience:
' Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ year's experience as an Electrical Engineer developing new products.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
' In depth knowledge of power conversion topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, AC/AC and/or DC/AC)
' Strong analytical skills
' Solid circuit simulation skills PSPICE or the like
' Familiar with schematic capture programs.
' Experience in designing AC/DC power converters, high powers a plus.
' Experience in developing active power factor front ends a plus
' Experience with embedded micro-processor controlled power converters
' Solid understanding of the theory, design and application of magnetics and capacitors used for power conversion
' Understanding of control loop theory as it relates to power converter design.
' C- Programming skills a plus
' US Government Security Clearance required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
